About us
The plastic surgery department offers a skin cancer and general plastic surgery service to the local community. We work closely with Dermatology, Histopathology and other specialties within the Trust to provide outpatient, and day surgery care. Inpatient care is provided by the same team at St Georges hospital, where the larger plastic surgery group resides. Emergency work is carried out at St George’s Hospital.
We offer the following at Kingston:
- skin cancer
- lumps and bumps
- body contouring (breast reduction, and tummy tuck for example)
- hand surgery (carpal tunnel, and trigger finger are examples)
- chronic wound advice (pressure sores)
- secondary burn reconstruction
The team is led by Mr Mark Soldin. The consultants are Mr Ben Ardehali, Dr Carrol Lesesne, and soon to join the team Ms Farida Ali.
