About us
Kingston Private Health is the private patient unit at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We provide excellent, personalised care to meet your individual requirements, delivered by the expertise and compassion of the area’s leading consultants, dedicated clinical teams, nurses and support staff.
Our patients are accommodated in their own private en-suite room, benefiting from the enhanced hotel services available on the unit. Having access to state-of-the-art NHS equipment allows our staff to maintain an uncompromising commitment to our patients’ safety and comfort.
Additionally, as a patient of Kingston Private Health, not only will you benefit from the comfort and exclusivity that comes with private healthcare, but also have the knowledge that you will be directly supporting your local NHS hospital.
Any profits generated by Kingston Private Health is reinvested into the Trust’s NHS services, meaning that the income generated from private care helps to support the healthcare needs of the wider community.
Kingston Private Health offers rapid access and flexibility for a wide range of conditions and care needs. We offer a number of outpatient services such as dermatology treatments, diagnostic imaging and clinical physiology tests.
As well as planned care, the unit can also care for those patients admitted through Kingston Hospital’s emergency department who may wish to make use of their private insurance or indeed pay for their private care themselves.
We are proud to have leading consultants working in the area covering many specialities including cardiology, orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, general surgery, cosmetic surgery and acute medicine. Unlike other local private healthcare providers, we also offer consultant-led maternity packages, which include one-to-one midwife care throughout delivery and postnatal stay.
Financing your private care
Kingston Private Health is recognised by all major UK insurers including AXA PPP, Aviva, Bupa, Cigna, Vitality and WPA. Some policies may have restricted cover, so we always advise that you check with your insurance provider to confirm that your policy covers your planned treatment.
You may decide not to use your medical insurance or simply choose to pay for your private care yourself. At Kingston Private Health, our aim is to make the process for you as simple and as transparent as possible by offering tailored self-pay packages where possible.
View our price guides or get in touch with one of our friendly finance administrators who can give you a bespoke estimate of costs for your care and treatment.
